A recent article in the Daily Coffee News highlights the continuing coffee price crisis in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. For many growers, the price offered by the international buyers is less than the cost of production. This is not likely to improve as the world’s demand for coffee has decreased during the pandemic.
Historically, the Mt. Meru Coffee Project has purchased coffee from farmers at prices that far exceed the average market price. We will continue to do so for the foreseeable future with your help.
